21st Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Standard Bank Limited held Through Digital Platform .The 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Standard Bank Limited was held on Thursday, the 30th July 2020 at 11:30 am through digital platform. The AGM was duly conducted through the use of virtual medium as directed by the regulatory bodies instead of physical presence of the respected Shareholders and Directors in order to maintain safe social distancing against the backdrop of the on-going nationwide corona virus pandemic. Mr. Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed, the Honorable Chairman of the Board of Directors, International Director of Lions Clubs International and former President of FBCCI presided over the meeting. Vice Chairman Mr. Md. Zahedul Hoque, Directors Messers Kamal Mostafa Chowdhury, Ashok Kumar Saha, Ferozur Rahman, Md. Monzur Alam, S. A. M. Hossain, Al-Haj Mohammed Shamsul Alam, Mohammed Abdul Aziz, Ferdous Ali Khan, Al-Haj Mohd. Yousuf Chowdhury, Kazi Khurram Ahmed, Md. Abul Hossain, Najmul Huq Chaudhury and Md. Nazmus Salehin, Managing Director & CEO Khondoker Rashed Maqsood, Additional Managing Director Md. Tariqul Azam, Deputy Managing Director Md. Motaleb Hossain and a large number of Shareholders and External Auditor of the Bank attended the meeting on virtual platform. Acting Group Company Secretary Mr. Md. Ali Reza FCMA conducted the meeting. Chairman Mr. Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed presented the Annual Report 2019 of the Bank and Directors’ Report before the Hon’ble Shareholders. He sincerely thanked all the esteemed Clients and Shareholders of the Bank for their active participation and sincere cooperation and wished them all the best. Managing Director & CEO Mr. Khondoker Rashed Maqsood delivered welcome speech to the participants at the outset of the meeting. It is worth mentioning here that the Shareholders present in the AGM duly approved all agenda including 5% stock and 5% cash dividend for the year 2019.
