Standard Bank Inks Deal with Bangladesh Bank. Standard Bank has signed a participation agreement with Bangladesh Bank under the "Refinance Scheme against Term Facility†for Tk. 25,000.00 Cr to Cottage, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (CMSME) customers at 7% Profit rate. In Presence of Mr. Abdur Rouf Talukder, Governor and Mr. Abu Farah Md. Nasser, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Mr. Md. Jaker Hossain, Director (SMESPD) of Bangladesh Bank and Mr. Khondoker Rashed Maqsood, Managing Director & CEO of Standard Bank Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides on 24 August 2022.
